Chelidonia branding
We were asked to design the logo for Chelidonia Suites & Villas. While the name refers to the location of the villas, Chelidonia Bay, the logo represents swallows, the birds that were also found in the famous wall painting uncovered in the prehistoric settlement of Akrotiri in Thera.
Our main inspiration is the painting’s theme, the springtime revival that was probably associated with religious rituals. The composition consists of red lilies in a rocky volcanic landscape, while swallows swoop above.
